The granular ice cube maker is a specialized device operating based on the evaporator refrigeration principle. It cools water through a refrigeration system to form granular, edible ice. The ice cubes produced by this equipment come in cylindrical, square, or crescent shapes. They are among the smallest ice types and possess excellent resistance to melting, making them ideal for commercial applications such as milk tea shops, bars, and Western restaurants.

The equipment utilizes hot gas defrosting technology, with a defrosting cycle controlled between 150-180 seconds. The evaporator tubes are made of food-grade SUS304 stainless steel to ensure hygiene standards. Granular ice machines are classified into three types based on the ice-making method: spray type, flow type, and immersion type. Daily production capacity ranges from 30kg to 700kg, meeting the needs of various commercial scales.

Technical Principle
The granular ice machine uses a compressor to drive the refrigerant circulation, lowering the evaporator surface temperature to -10℃ to -18℃. The sprayed or flowing water gradually freezes into an ice layer upon contact with the evaporator. Once the ice layer reaches a preset thickness, the equipment initiates the hot gas defrosting process: high-temperature gaseous refrigerant is introduced into the evaporator, separating the ice from the evaporator surface.

The wastewater generated during the defrosting process is discharged through an instantaneous drainage system, ensuring the transparency and cleanliness of the ice cubes. After defrosting, the equipment automatically enters the next ice-making cycle. Some high-end models are equipped with a microcomputer control system for fully automated monitoring of the entire process.
